A new Fiat 500 Abarth special edition has been unveiled. The 695 Tributo Maserati is a soft-top Abarth 500 with upgraded performance and a few Maserati-inspired visual tweaks.
Limited to only 499 cars, the Tributo Maserati is powered by the same 1.4L turbo engine found elsewhere in the Abarth 500 line-up, but with power uprated to 132kW. A special Record Monza exhaust gets hexagonal tailpipes, just like the Maserati GranTurismo.
There are also 17” trident alloy wheels – a signature Maserati touch – larger Brembo brakes and improved suspension.
Inside, the sports seats are upholstered in beige Poltrona Frau leather, while dash inserts are finished in matt carbon-fibre. Special dials, aluminium pedals and a two-tone leather steering wheel are also added.
The Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show next month, along with more details on pricing and availability.
The current Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari model is currently priced at R525,000.
